Human Chromosome-specific databases
Human Genome Map Status - Sanger
This is a graphical representation of the status of sequencing each of the human chromosomes.
Human Genome Sequencing Index (HGSI)
As the Human Genome Project scales up, it becomes more important to have a means to
coordinate and track the sequencing effort. To this end, HGSI was created to collect and
distribute up-to-date Human Genome sequencing target information; HGSI will provide a
"big picture" of the sequencing communities efforts by providing tables and graphic displays
of the targets submitted.
humace - analysed human genomic sequences from the Sanger
humace is the acedb database of analysed human genomic
sequence generated by the human sequence analysis group at the Sanger Centre.
Human genetic chromosomal maps (CPROP)
Human genetic chromosomal PostScript maps have been produced automatically from the
GDB data.
Human Chromosome Ideograms (Washington University)
can be selected and displayed, courtesy of David Adler.
KARIBIN - a karyotype region-based disease gene information system
KARIBIN is a karyotype region-based information resource that provides a
comprehensive set of integrated genome data to facilitate disease gene
identification.
For each cytogenetic band, the user can obtain the most current genome data that includes the genetic maps, the physical maps, the gene transcript map, the YAC and PAC/BAC clone coverage, the disease gene phenotype and the sequencing effort from the major human genome sequencing centres.
