The C. elegans Genome Project
The C. elegans Genome Project FTP Site at the Sanger Centre not only
provides an easy way of accessing cosmid sequences which have already
been submitted to the major databases but also allows access to more
preliminary sequences.
wEST C. elegans Expressed Sequence Tag Database
The wEST Database is a compilation of Expressed Sequence Tags identified
through efforts of sequencing the genome of Caenorhabditis elegans.
C. elegans repetitive DNA
The Repeat Pattern Toolkit (RPT) is a database of repetitive DNA
sequence in the nematode C. elegans. The
repeat elements were identified and classified using the Repeat Pattern
Toolkit. The dataset used was 3.67 million bases of almost contiguous
DNA sequence from chromosome III.
MTDNA - C.elegans Mitochondrial Directory
Directory of mitochondrially located genes. Displayed
data includes both peptide and nucleotide sequence with
exon-intron structure, homology to related model organisms,
protein domain matches and PSORT localisation prediction
data.
Caenorhabditis elegans WWW Server at UTSW
This provides information on the genome, Worm Breeder's Gazette,
protocols, strains, pictures, C.elegans researchers' addresses, etc.
The Blumenthal Lab at Indiana
This is a collection of news and sites dealing with the nematode project,
plus research interests at the Blumenthal Lab.
The Strome Lab at Indiana
Work on how one-cell embryos generate the diverse array of different
tissue types seen in adult organisms, using Caenorhabditis elegans.
FilGenNet, the Filarial Genome Network
The Filarial Initiative is funded by the WHO-TDR with supplemental funding from The McConnell
Clark Foundation, and several others.
This describes the biology and distribution of some of the more common and well characterized filarial nematodes.
