Saccharomyces Genomic Information Resource
Salk Institute for Biological Studies
The Salk Institute is a private, non-profit, research organization
located in La Jolla, California. Scientists here are dedicated to
fundamental research in biology and its relation to health, studying
such challenging problems as the organization and operation of the
brain, the control of gene activity, and the molecular origins of
cancer, AIDS, and other diseases.

South African National Bioinformatics Institute (SANI)
SANI is the South African National Bioinformatics Institute for the
analysis of Genomes relevant to South African Health Research and
Biotechnology. SANBI aims to bring genome information,
computational biology, and analytical tools to the South African
research community.
Amongst other services, they produce the STACK and SANIGENE clustered EST databases.
Stanford Human Genome Center
The two primary research goals of the Stanford Human Genome Center
(SHGC) are the construction of high resolution Radiation Hybrid maps of
the human genome and the sequencing of large, contiguous genomic
regions. The SHGC also maintains an active Education Program to make
research available to students, teachers and the community.
Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB)
SIB is tightly associated to the University of Geneva, the University
of Lausanne, the Geneva University Hospital, the Swiss Institute for
Cancer Research (ISREC) and the Ludwig Institute and will also operate
in association with industrial partners.
